Korra was tired.
She had just got back from a long week of grown up meetings in Ba Sing Se and physically, mentally, and emotionally, she was exhausted. It was late at night and the dormitories were silent as she padded up to her room. Slowly she slid the door open to see that her bed was occupied and she smiled softly as she pulled the door shut behind her.
The moon lit up the room and made the sleeping figure's face glow, his face free of worry and childlike. She quick

By lunch time Pema would order them to each lunch an
Mako flamed into the council room with his usual annoyed expression on his face. He couldn't believe his brother anymore; Bolin was getting on the young god's last nerves.
Mako was sporting his usual Fire God attire: a red cloth wrapped around his waist about knee length being held together by a simple knot, two gold bands with red flame insignias on the sides on each of his upper arms, a thinner gold band on his right ankle, and a red scarf wrapped around his neck.
He could feel his body heat up from anger.
"You're starting to steam." A strong famine voice said in a sing-song voice. Mako turned to see a watery

Summary: Mako witnesses Korra playing with baby Rohan and realizes that he wants a future with her.
Mako walked into the dorms after a long day at work. Tenzin had told him that working was unnecessary, but the young fire bender felt that he needed to help cover the costs of both him and his brother living there and weekly set
"Korra!!" Mako screamed. She heard him fade into silence as she fell into the water below. Everything went quiet as she submerged in the drink. She used her good arm and a bit of her bending to get her to the surface. She came up gulped for air.
"Mmm, ow," she wheezed as she bobbed over to the preparation platform. She pulled herself up with her right arm painfully and flopped on the stone floor. She clenched her teeth as pain shot through her body. "Dang, those benders are good," she huffed under her breath. She gasped for air thanks to the blow of earth to her stomach.
She jumped as the buzzer go off. I hope they didn't do anything rash
"See this? It's fire. You might be able to bend it," tiny hands reached to touch the flame and Mako quickly pulled his left hand back. "Don't touch sweetheart. It'll hurt. But see, it's like a heartbeat. Just like yours," he took her little hand gently in his right and placed it over her heart. "Mommy says you might be a waterbender though. From what she tells me that's all push," he extinguished the fire in his left hand and took her other hand in his and softly pushed her arms back, "and pull," he pulled her into his arms. "Or maybe you're an
Sweet
There were many things in life that were bitter. The loss of your parents. Being forced to grow up too fast to take care of a younger sibling by any means necessary. The frigid nights on the streets when no one wanted to take in two little boys. Hell, Mako would have been fine out in their crumbling makeshift shack had he known his brother would have been taken care of. Yes, the young Firebender knew many things in life that were bitter, but almost knew nothing of the other half of that coin. He would be happy when he won a probending match, but only because he knew it meant keeping a roof over their heads at night. He wou
Her hair was down, just the way he liked it.
She breathed lightly as she slept, her head on his arm.
It's been a long day. Mako placed his lips on her forehead, kissing her lightly. Korra opened her eyes. "Mako?" she asked softly. "Sorry. Did I wake you?" he asked.
Korra nodded drowsily. "My bad," Mako replied.
"It's alright. Couldn't sleep anyways," she said.
Korra sat up and turned around, facing Mako. She crawled towards him and placed her hand on his chest, the other supporting herself up
"Took you long enough to say it," she smirked. Mako rolled his eyes playfully. "You expect me to express my feelings in three simple words. I feel
